So it started off last monday night. we went to teach a lady and the lesson went really well i could feel the spirit and everything. but just as we were about to close she told us something that hit me hard! she had said that she felt like something was following her and that she was never alone! so we tried to put her at ease and say that the spirit can comfort us through these feelings, but then when elder brown offered to give her a blessing and that we had the authority to get rid of the evil or uncomforting spirits, she immediatly said that she felt sick and that it made her uncomfortable that we were there with her! when she said that i had this horrible feeling hit me right in the chest and i can honestly say that i have never felt the presence of satan so strongly in my life! it was a scary feeling and it is still hard for me to talk about it know! i never want to experience that again.
After that though i will say that the week got a lot better and happier! we worked our butts off all week and we even had a moto! " if we start off strong and end strong than the middle will take care of itself" i can honestly say that that came true! even though some of the days in the middle were slow and not a lot of lessons. the middle took care of itself and we met all of our goals and even exceeded many of them! we had 72 people attend church this past week and that included 8 of our investigators! 4 of those 8 are those who are prepairing to be baptized this week! i am so happy and i can see the lords hand in our work! i can say that i have seen it more and more as we strive to be as obedient as possible and it is so great!
Other than that it is still hot but we have been getting a little more rain lately but usually only at night! and i have been working harder on memorizing my scriptures and that is really improving my teaching! i love this work and i love the Gospel! i know that no matter what happens, i will be blessed and i have a strong belief that my patriacle blessing will come true no matter what as long as i am faithful. I am really relying on those blessings right now and i have been pondering a lot lately on what they mean! i am so grateful for that blessing it is a huge comfort to me! i love you!! and i hope that you have a great week. be safe and always put your trust in the lord! he is their for us! remember what he did for us in Alma 7:11-13. and remember God loves us 1 john 4:7-9 and i love you!!!
