Happy New Year! i hope that you had a great party and that you are all safe and well rested from that night. I probably didnt celebrate like you but i did get to see the fireworks when they woke us up at 12. It has been a great and yet trying 2014, but we made it together and we all have a bright 2015 to look forward to.
I hope that you are still keeping your resolutions that you have made and i am keeping mine which is to read all the standard works in the next 9 months. i am excited to see what i have to look forward to and all that i can learn! This week has been a good one especially because i recieved such a wonderful package that had the love of my life in it, Baseball mitts and balls!!!! i was so happy and we have played so much that the lacing on one is already broken haha!
This week has been good for Elder Barlow and I. we met many new and wonderful people and are excited to go back and see them again. One in particular was someone we met just last night. his name is Joshua and we met him by just contacting a street and we saw him inside. He came out and we shared about the Book of Mormon and he had the golden question of How can we Know? I dont know much of what happened after that but I felt Impressed to talk about Joseph Smith and It clicked for him. He said we could come back and he wanted to hear more. And the best part is that he is married and have two amazing kids. This is the family that can help the kingdom i can just feel it. I would say that he is my faith builder for the week and i just want to see him and his family accept and embrace the Gospel that i KNOW will bless their lives!
So this week is the week for transfers and we got news that they are putting 2 more elders here in christ church so we will be in a 4 man. which means i may be meeting 3 different elders because i think elder barlow will be leaving! but we will just see this week! crazy how fast the time flies. i also tried to send pictures but it didnt want to work today so maybe next week!
I hope that you have a great week and that all is well. Please be safe and Remember that i Love you!!
Love
Elder Nathanial Woodruff
