Monday Message: March 24, 2014

So this week has gone by pretty fast i guess you could say! we have been working hard on getting the seminary program started here in St lucia so we go to go and visit with a lot of the youth which is still weird to me because i am still one of them! haha! oh well i feel a lot older than i really am! the weirdest thing for me is that we teach a lot of people that my age and older yet they feel so young to me and we even meet people who are 14 and 15 and they seem so old its weird! we have a baptism this week as well on friday! we shouldve had 3 but two of them we feel arent quite ready yet so we decided to push them back Again! but its ok it will be great and they will be ready soon! other than that my week was ok! i still have to work with my patients but it is getting better and now that the transfer is over i get to set new goals and look forward to acomplish them! so 6 month mark tomorrow it has come so fast i cant believe it! i just hope the next 18 go by fast as well! so the only thing super new for me this week is that we are looking for a new apartment and i think we fund one we just have to wait for the senior couple to come and look at it and it should be ours! i cant wait because it is so much nicer than what we have now for cheaper! also i found out that i am staying here for at least next transfer so 6 weeks! also Elder Telga is still on st maarten that will make almost a year for him! so crazy! he will be a zone leader as well! other than that i am ok i just have to work with my comp. i think that he is falling in love with a member which isnt good! i dont know what to do with him! oh well zone conference is this week i am going to talk to pres. mehr so i will see! i hope that you have a safe week and that everything goes great! i love you so much and you are always in my prayers! remember i love letters and pictures so keep them coming haha!! Monday Message: March 17, 2014 - His Testimony

What a week! things cant suprize me anymore after this week! so we had two baptisms planned for the 22! ya they are delayed 1 week because they didnt come yesterday to church. then we had 2 investigators straight up drop us over the phone and one even moved away! then we had to deal with the crazy rain and all of the weather! i am pretty positive that i cant be suprised any more! that and i am really working hard on my patients and not losing my temper with Elder Sorensen! i really hate to complain but i have to get it off of my chest! lately he has been getting angry lately with the people that we teach and even with the members! i try to calm him down but when people say things or turn us away he gets mad at them and then you can feel the spirit leave and we all know that contention drives away the spirit and as a missionary we cant teach with out the spirit! i have tried and still working on finding the good things about him and i am working hard on loving that part of him! and it is going good! but it is still hard sometimes! well enough of me complaining! other than that the work is good and things are coming along really well! i love it here in st lucia even though its no st maarten haha! i love you so much! and i just want you to know that i do have a testimony! i know that this is the only true church and it was strengthened after visiting a seventh day adventist church this week. i felt different there and i know that our church is the right place and the only one who has the fullness of the gospel on the earth and we have the Authority of Christ to do his work! i know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are always there for us no matter what and they can help us in anything as long as we acknowledge them and pray to them! i know the BOM is true and i love it so much and i love having it in my life the more i read it the closer i feel to christ! i also know that joseph smith was called of God and by the power of God he translated the BOM because no one with out the help of God could do that!! i also love and know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet today and i cant wait for Conference in a couple of weeks to be able to hear from him and all the leaders of the Church!!! i never thought i would love or look forward to conference so much in my life but i truly do love it!!! i know that not only me but you also are being blessed for this service that i am doing and that is one thing that i am so happy for is knowing that you are being blessed!! i love you so much and hope that you have a great week and never forget to PRAY always and put all your trust in God and he will make our ways perfect! always read the scriptures they are the only way we know what God wants us to do! I KNOW THAT THIS CHURCH IS TRUE! and i know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ LIVE and they love us! i want you to know that and know that this is my testimony and that i love you! i say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Monday Message: March 10, 2014

so this week has been ok. all 4 of us in the apartment ccaught the flu which made it hard to go out and work. but we did we worked through it! i am so greatful to hear from you. it always makes me happy to come on mondays and see emails and hear how everyone is! i hope that you are safe and dont worry about me i am pretty safe! i only almost got hit by a car twice this week;) haha jk! we are safe. the only thing that really happened that wasnt safe is elder sorensen fell in a trench the other night and almost broke his leg. but as soon as we found out he was ok we just sat there and laughed and now it is a joke to us!  but other than that our week is boring! we do have some success this week we have 2 baptisms scheduled for the 22 of march and that is great the branch here is really growing and hopefully by the start of next transfer things will be better and we will be in our own appartment with good quality things and it will feel more like a home than like scout camp!!! but this week my goal is to focus on the people and not let the little things bother me! i am working on my patience and it is getting better!! sorry i ran out of time today so it is a little short i will write more next week. so today we went to see the pitons and they are awesome but you will have to research them to know more!!! i love you so much and hope that you are safe!! i cant wait to hear from you next week!! Monday Message: March 3, 2014

So this week has been a little better i can say!!! i dont want to complain but the zone leaders have been kinda chastizing us more than i think is necessary! i can see where they come from if we werent trying hard and doing the best we can! but we go out each day and do our best! but i have been trying so hard lately to let it be a motivation rather than to rip me apart! so it has been my silent motivation! the one thing that i have been really trying to work on this week is my christ like attributes!!! i need to learn patients and love but i am getting better!!! i know that they are doing what they are suppose to and i respect that so i still will follow what they say and always try to improve. I just have to do the best i can and let the lord do the rest but i try not to focus all on the numbers but to really care about the people i meet!!! i love the people in my area and vieux fort is growing on me!!!! we had 3 investigators at church and two with baptismal dates they are such amazing people as well! i do love this work and i am so happy to do it! this is what the lord wants right now and it is so great!!!
