Monday Message: April 28, 2014

Tuesday Message: April 22, 2014

Yesterday was a holiday for Nate so he got to email us today instead.

So this week i learned a huge lesson on not asking "what can go worse" because it will always get worse no matter what if you ask that! the week started out by getting the bikes stolen from us by a rasta man! lets say last tuesday we spent 5 hours searching and then going to the police station to get it back. then on wednesday we realized that they had popped the tire on the bike so we cant use it and it still hasnt been fixed! then when we thought things were turning around thursday came along and we were walking and it started to pour on us. everything we had just got completely soaked! we got home and just were supper miserable! i cant believe that all this could happen in one week! i am so glad that it is over and that i am able to start a new week and i just have been praying that this one improves and i know it will! other than that nothing happened we got chastized by leaders like usual! but all is well idk what will happen in the next transfer its sad to say but i think if i stay with elder sorensen i might end up in crazy town or i might actually have to freak out! and we all know that that isnt a good side of me! but all is well! i am healthy and safe so dont worry about me! i pray for you and please be safe! i love you so so so much and hope to hear from you soon! Tuesday Message: April 15, 2014

The internet went down on Monday so we got to talk to Nate today instead. 

So lets just get this week put behind us and not bring it up again! i am so glad that it is over and that i have a fresh week in front of me. between the homesickness that randomly hit and waiting for the news of my nieces arrival. to the investigators and the struggles of baptism and teaching. to bringing the spirit and trying to keep it with me at all times and hold back my anger to show love to the people that i deal with each and everyday! i am glad that i can put that all behind me and move forward with the help of the Holy Ghost and the Savior. i know that it will be a great week to come. so now that that is off my chest i have also seen the blessings that came from this week! i remembered how important prayer is. just like on st maarten when i found that out i guess you could say that i lost it for a little but i found it again! i do need prayer and i love it. it helps to relieve my stress and just to get  away for a little bit! i dont know a better way to get away from the world when you just need a minute! i love it! things are still a little rough even when we try to talk things out but i am working hard still and just loving my surroundings! i love St lucia even if it is hard and God provides a way! Monday Message: April 7, 2014

so this week has been pretty crazy and pretty slow at the same time. the work right now isnt moving along very fast and it seems like no one wants to do what we ask but we still work hard and try to help as much as possible! this week was great though because we got our new apartment and it will actually stay clean! because it is just the 2 of us and it has HOT water! i am so happy it is so nice to be able to have a good HOT shower in the morning after sleeping in a nice cold room from the a/c. i am actually livijng pretty comfortable right now! i hope that it helps me to feel better and so i will actually be able to work with out being sick or havjing back pain! i am starting to really love it here though and i am loving the people. still never a st maarten but getting better! i loved conference this weekend and i hope that you did to! i loved the talk by Micheal John U. Teh  it was great to hear that physical possesions arent the most important and i realized that realationships are the most important! i want you to know that i love you so much and hope that all is ok! other than that the work is slow right now so not anything super exciting is happening but i am still looking and moving forward! the time is going faster and faster and it is all going a lot better with Elder Sorensen. we had a good long talk one night while we were walking for ever! it is good to have a big area sometimes for that reason! we are able to just talk and let everything out and to understand each other! we are gaining a good relationship and all is going good! i hope you have a great week and please be safe! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!! I LOVE YOU!!

Monday Message: March 31, 2014

I am so excited for conference! i can honestly say i probably have never been so excited for this weekend in my life! i remember i use to dread sitting there and watching it if i even sat there haha! but i am so excited to hear from our wonderful leaders and to see the warnings that they have recieved for us from God! i never thought of it as i do know! it is truly the time that we get to hear God speak to us and to tell us what we need to hear! the only thing is that it is through modern day prophets and apostles! i love this gospel! you might be thinking that it isnt the Nathanial woodruff that you knew 6 months ago but trust me i am still the same!!:) the only difference is i found out how much i truly love God and all the things that he does and places in my path! dont worry about me i am doing much better this week! we had our zone conference and i got to have a one on one interview with president mehr! it was so great and he has helped me so much to get over the hardships that i have been having with my companion! he told me to just put everything out on the table with him and to not care if he gets mad just be open and to have a confersation with him! it was good! i got the things off of my chest and was able to get rid of the contention that we all could feel was in the air! we are getting a long better and things will be even better when we move out and get our own apartment! even though the four man is nice it will be good to have a place to our self that we can speak openly and talk about what we need to! i kind of see this little trial in my life as something that God needed me to go through! i think that the mission truly is prepairing me for the real life! i learn to live with someone and to adapt to things that are going on and to the changes that life throws at us sometimes and all of the things of life! i look at the mission as a mini life and how it is set up to not only help others but it is helping me more! President Mehr said something in ZC that helped me, he said," this is YOUR mission" i took that as it is helping me to grow and i cant wait to continue to see me grow! i love this gospel and all of the blessings that it has given me! it has blessed me with an amazing Girlfriend who is the love of my life and who i know i want to be with forever! it has blessed me with an amazing family and friends who i can grow with and be together forever with! i love you so much and i hope and pray that you are excited for conference as well and that you will pray and listen to the speakers to be able to take one thing out of it! Conference is for ME and YOU and US!! I love you and hope you have a great week!
